Do you dream of photographing hummingbirds?
Peru, with over 1,800 bird species, is one of the world's biodiversity hotspots.
This tour is specially designed to provide the opportunity to photograph up to 50 species of hummingbirds, including the endemic and endangered Marvelous Spatuletail Loddigesia mirabilis.
The focus will be on capturing the unique beauty of each species as naturally as possible. We will make use of the feeders and waterers located in the gardens of the various places we will visit during this workshop.

Itinerary
Day 1: Lima – Tarapoto
Days 2 - 7: Wakanki & Owlet Lodge
Days 8 - 9: Huembo Lodge
Days 10-12: Pomacochas
Day 13: Lima
This trip includes visits to some of Peru’s premier birding locations in the cloud forests of Pomacochas and the diverse ecosystems around Tarapoto.
We will also have a boat trip to the Palomino Islands near Lima, to photograph unique seabirds and marine fauna.
